Mark Stogdill has spent his professional career working in the fiber optic industry, having held several senior posts in engineering and construction firms that provided key services to the largest organizations in the telecommunication industry worldwide. To leverage his valuable experience and desire to aid in the development of high speed broadband in the underserved markets of the United States, Mark established an advisory and construction firm known as Trantel prior to co-founding Hammer Fiber. During his career, Mark held the position of Head of Engineering for Fiber Engineering and Design Inc., a primary construction and design vendor for Verizon Communications, to oversee the full scale deployment of the Verizon FiOS service covering the metropolitan areas of Philadelphia, Manhattan, Newark New Jersey and York Pennsylvania. As an industry consultant, Mark served as a technical advisor on projects ranging from cellular data synchronization in metro New Jersey markets to SONET fiber ring deployments in Minnesota for some of the world’s largest telecommunication companies, including Verizon, Time Warner, Zayo,T-Mobile, and Cricket Wireless. Mark subsequently identified the trend towards the convergence of fiber backbone networks and high capacity wireless broadband access technologies and heads up Hammer Fiber Optics Holdings as its CEO.
Michael Adamcik has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience specializing in network architecture. Before joining Hammer Fiber , Michael’s expertise in OSP planning and fiber optic network design led to several appointments to leadership roles in which he spent 10 years working with ISP and interior applications as the MDU Project Manager overseeing the Verizon MDU state of NJ build. During his tenure he oversaw the design of OSP and ISP service connections for over 180K households for triple play delivery from major carriers such as Verizon Communications and Time Warner Cable. Most recently he led an engineering team that designed 10K units for broadband service with Google Fiber in Austin, TX. At Trantel LLC Michael was the Director of Engineering and provided oversight and management for all the company’s projects. Michael has a degree from Penn State University.
Joseph Barrett heads the construction arm of the Hammer Fiber team, overseeing the development, deployment, and physical construction of customer premises, multiple dwelling/tenant units, and corporate infrastructure facilities. Joseph came to Hammer Fiber from AECOM, where he served as Construction Project Manager. He completed his career at AECOM as the primary Construction Project Manager under their national MSA with the United States Postal service, where he oversaw the management of a large set of small to medium sized projects nationwide. During his tenure with AECOM, he was able to ensure the on-time and on-budget completion of dozens of projects. That experience and proven track record of success has led Joseph to take the reins of Hammer Fiber’s consumer services division where he continues to apply his exceptional standards of excellence to advance the company’s continued growth.
Daniel oversees our infrastructure operations and engineering group and brings more than 10 years of experience with optical transmission systems, wireline access products, mobile systems, fixed-wireless solutions and communications-focused software engineering. Daniel has held key leadership positions in some of the largest and most successful service providers in the world. Prior to joining Hammer, Daniel held a senior engineering position in the wireless data operations team at nTelos Wireless and prior to that he spent his time as an independent consultant advising emerging carriers on developing their networks . Daniel is a life long student of communications technology and has a clearly defined vision and passion for low-cost, open Internet access for every man, woman and child on the planet. He has dedicated a substantial portion of his career to the advancement of this goal.
